The Design and Performance of a Fixed High Temperature Ball Valve
The purpose of type inspection of high-temperature ball valve products is to verify whether the design and performance of a given type of fire-resistant high-temperature ball valve meet the requirements of basic standards and relevant product standards. Type inspection is a test that must be conducted by new product development units or new product trial production and production units, and is usually conducted only once.
In addition, when the design of the fire resistant high-temperature ball valve product is changed or adjusted, or the manufacturing process, raw materials used, or the structure of the fire resistant high-temperature ball valve product is changed, which may affect its working performance, it is also necessary to conduct a new type inspection of the relevant items. The type inspection items are the most complete among various inspections of fire-resistant high-temperature ball valve products, among which the inspection items involving major performance indicators in safety aspects must be qualified. If some relatively minor indicator defects are not caused by design factors, they are allowed to be reinspected. When the product passes the type inspection and enters the stable production stage, regular sampling inspection (abbreviated as periodic inspection) should also be conducted to check the product quality. The test content can be selected from type inspection items. The inspection cycle can be once every one to five years for products that are put into stable production. For fire resistant high-temperature ball valve products with large production batches, short inspection cycles, and low cost, the interval can be shorter. Routine inspection is a type of factory inspection. Routine inspection items refer to the inspection items and inspection items that must be carried out by the manufacturer on each set of fire resistant high temperature ball valve products before leaving the factory. The purpose is to inspect for defects in materials and assembly. Routine inspection can be conducted using equivalent inspection or rapid inspection methods.
Factory sampling inspection refers to the sampling inspection and sampling test that must be conducted by the manufacturer before the fire resistant high-temperature ball valve product officially leaves the factory. The above inspection items should be clearly specified in the product standards or technical documents for fire-resistant high-temperature ball valves.
