What is the pressure range of the high-pressure safety valve?

High pressure safety valve is a safety protection valve with its opening and closing parts in a normally closed state under the action of external forces. When the pressure of the medium in the equipment or pipeline rises and exceeds the specified value, it automatically opens. By discharging the medium outside the system, it prevents the pressure of the medium in the pipeline or equipment from exceeding the specified value.

Safety valves are automatic valves, mainly used in boilers, pressure vessels, and pipelines. They control the pressure to not exceed the specified value, and play an important role in protecting personal safety and equipment operation. According to the opening height of the safety valve flap, it can be divided into a micro lift safety valve and a full lift safety valve. The opening stroke height of the micro lift safety valve is: ≤ 0.05d0 (minimum discharge throat diameter); The opening height of the full lift safety valve is ≤ 0.25d0 (minimum discharge throat diameter).

The pressure of a high-pressure safety valve generally refers to the nominal pressure, and its pressure range generally refers to the applicable pressure range of the safety valve. What is the pressure range of the high-pressure safety valve?

The pressure range of high pressure safety valves is generally PN10.0~80.0Mpa, and there are higher level ultra-high pressure safety valves, with a nominal pressure generally above 100Mpa. Of course, in addition to high-pressure and ultra-high-pressure safety valves, there are also low-pressure safety valves (nominal pressure PN ≤ 1.6Mpa) and medium-pressure safety valves (nominal pressure PN 2.5~6.4Mpa).

After selecting the model of the high-pressure safety valve, it is also necessary to adjust it according to the working pressure of the place where it is used, so that the tripping pressure of the safety valve should comply with relevant regulations, such as the regulations for boiler safety valves: the set pressure of the safety valve with a lower tripping pressure should be 1.12 times the working pressure and should not be less than the working pressure plus 0.07MPa; The set pressure of safety valves with high unseating pressure should be 1.14 times the working pressure and should not be less than the working pressure plus 0.1MPa. Regular calibration shall be conducted according to relevant regulations. The adjusted high-pressure safety valve should be "lead sealed".
