Newway Petroleum Equipment NOE has successfully obtained the PR2F certificate of API 6A hard seal ball valve
In some specific industries such as oil and gas exploitation, API6A ball valve is required to withstand high working pressure, high-speed hard particle wear and medium acid corrosion, and maintain long-term and stable sealing under gas medium conditions. At present, only a few European and American manufacturers can provide products that fully meet the requirements, and the PR2F test specified in Appendix F of API6A has also become one of the certification with the highest gold content in the industry.
At the request of customers at home and abroad, Newway Petroleum Equipment (NOE) successfully obtained the PR2F certificate of API6A ultra-high pressure hard seal ball valve recently to meet the urgent needs of FPSO, GIC and other offshore energy exploitation projects.
This test was witnessed and certified by DNV (Det Norske Veritas), an internationally renowned third party. The certified prototype was a 10000psi hard-sealed ball valve. The shell test pressure was more than 100Mpa. The test standard was API6A Appendix F. After high and low temperature cycling and more than 200 times of full opening and full closing, the test prototype finally passed the full set of tests at one time. The sealing performance met ISO5208 Rate A, and achieved the breakthrough of no visible leakage of water and gas media.
It is understood that this is the first API6A hard-sealed ball valve PR2F certificate issued by DNV in China. As a globally recognized senior authority for PR2F certification, the PR2F certificate issued by DNV will greatly help the company's API6A hard-sealed ball valve gain more recognition from world-class customers.
